Palette Viewer

This utility can be used to view a range of palette file formats include GIMP (.gpl), Hex, Pal, Text and Adobe Swatch Exchange (.ase). It can also be used to extract a palette from PNG, BMP, JPEG and GIF files.  Palettes extracted from images with more than 256 colors are quantized down to 256.

Colors can be sorted by index,hue,  saturation, luminance, red, green, blue or average.

The viewer can display hex values, RGB values or HSV values for each color. Each color can also be displayed as a hue gradient or a saturation gradient.

Palette views can be exported as PNG files.

The software is provided as a single non-installing exe in either 32 bit or 64 bit.  Supported platforms are Windows only at the moment.
